Our heartfelt thank you to the following who have opened their hearts this past week and have contributed to help us purchase supplies and to ship over the 50+ boxes (and more have arrived!) that will be going over in the next three months.
Our thanks to a gentleman in Marshall, MO whom we met at the Optimist convention in August for his first contribution and promise of more every month. He sees the value in what we do!
One kind and special "angel" in Maryland has made it possible for many, many boxes to be shipped, with a little left over for a pound of coffee to keep us going while we make our cards! Thank you, Jim, you are a truly a gift.
We received an unexpected and most welcomed contribution from an organization in Ashland, MO - this, out of the blue! Our thanks to those individuals who made it possible.
And one more thank you to a Girl Scout Troop in Minnesota - not only did they make the cards, but a check arrived in the mail as well!
But wait... there is more:
Yes, we received a very different type of contribution, a gift card! To be used "for whatever we need". Thank you, Jamie!
And our need is great as we work daily, getting these cards to our servicemen and women who are separated from their families and loved ones, protecting our freedom.
