  • From Our Hearts is a not-for-profit 501c3 that began with a simple request by a son for a few handcrafted cards so that he could send “special” cards home to his wife and children while he serving his 6th deployment in Iraq. Today, the initial dozen handcrafted cards have turned into thousands of quality, handcrafted cards created and donated to From Our Hearts every month by hundreds of stampers nationwide and shipped to our servicemen and women serving our country in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Email Received from Iraq To All

All,

Thank you for the lovely Valentine's Day/love note cards with wonderful handiwork.

Each one I selected reminded me of one of my children, one of whom's name is Rose and another that we call "Cory" which is short for Corazón. For example, Cory and I play tic-tac-toe in restaurants using hearts instead of Xs and Os. Her card had a similar arrangement. Very cute.

Please share my gratitude with your extended card-making family. I saw cards from Norman, OK and other places, in addition to the Jefferson City, MO "home office".

Keep up the beautiful work.

It brings smiles and loving thoughts this way!

Mailing Deadlines

  • 2010 special shipments will be mailed on or about the following dates. Deadlines for receipt of cards is 2 weeks prior to their mailing dates to give us time to prepare them for shipment:
    St. Patrick's Day: February 1
    Easter: February 22
    Mother's Day: March 22
    Father's Day: May 3
    4th of July: May 24
    Halloween: September 13
    Thanksgiving: October 1
    Christmas/Holiday: October 30

    All occasion cards are mailed over every 4-6 weeks, depending upon the numbers of donations received and available funds.
