Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the cards you make for the troops.  Several service member I was honored to serve with used the great cards you made.  I know it made our family and friends happy to receive communication from us.  Thank you again for such a wonderful gift.

I don't know really if it's really your birthday (he sent us a birthday card!) or not, but we should always celebrate a new day the same way.  Jesus Christ gave us the gift new each day.  All we have to do is reach out and grab it and take it freely.  Thanks for the gift you gave to me.

Dear Members of "From Our Hearts",

Thank you all so much for the beautiful Mother's Day cards.  It is clear you put a lot of love into making them, and I have watched countless Soldiers, Airmen and Seamen and Ladies eagerly grab these.  I have sent mine to my wife, mother and mother-in-law and know they will touch their hearts in a special way.  We all know that no one worries like a mother and we all appreciate your efforts to help us comfort and love them in such a lovely fashion.

Here's another box received in March from Linda B, a frequent contributor. Linda had the help of Arlene D (also a contributor to FOH) and Cindy C and all occasion cards donated by Michele L from NJ. Linda wanted to “fill up the box”, and that she did! The Grad Total -- 115 Mother’s Day cards, and 27 are in Spanish! We don’t get many of these but know there is a need in our military community. Other cards are thank you, thinking of you, birthday and get well. Thank you, Ladies!

Keep Those Card Fronts Coming!!!

 
Regina A. from Topeka, KS (the From Our Hearts Satelite office) and her group of volunteers (her sisters) have been busy, busy, busy. 350 cards were recently mailed our way, most every one created from donated card fronts - this box contained 137 Father's Day and a great assortment of other cards. Regina coordinates with the home office, pulling card fronts from the donations and re-making those that are in dire need. They do phenomenal work. You'd never know these fronts have been laying around in drawers and boxes for years! Also, they find time to stamp and create cards to supplement the supply with donated supplies (ribbons, embellishments and paper.)

 
Kaye R. from Woodlawn, VA sent this box to Regina and the other volunteers in Topeka - 5 cards and 121 card fronts. This sure will keep Regina and her group busy and will be included in her next box of completed cards to From Our Hearts! Thank you, Kay!!!

"Hello to Everyone at From Our Hearts: I am a registered Soldiers' Angel - a web site that assigns Soldiers that are currently on Active Deployment, a pen pal and Angel. I send out one card/ letter a week and a box of goodies per month. I have enlisted the help of several of my weekly scrap booking friends and we all contribute. Recently we received Hand made cards from our Soldier - as a Thank you for our support. I looked at the back and found a sticker for Patriot Way Stampers and traced them back to you! I can't tell you how we all felt to receive those Thank You cards - especially since most of us make cards ourselves! We know how much time and energy it takes to make just one and when I visited your website and saw people making and donating boxes of 100's of cards --- I was amazed. Our Soldier wrote an e-mail thank you to you recently for your contribution. He informed me that your box that was received in Afghanistan recently was brought to each soldier in his unit and they took great pleasure in finding the cards that they wanted and were anxious to write on them and send them out. My Friends and I feel very special to have been chosen to receive one. I know in my heart that each of us make a difference to the men and women who are serving our Country so far away but I didn't realize until now, how our love and service reaches far beyond one card or soldier and impacts the lives of many others. Here's another box received on March 24th -- this time from Doris F. in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin. Inside we found 57 beautiful cards, box ready, and a box of 100 white envelopes, plus a box of 6 snail refills (we always can use these at our events and to fix cards as needed!) She included a note to say Sharon W, Roxann B and Marti J also helped to contribute these cards.

We received this box from Ann W. of Moulton, AL on March 24th. Included were also cards made by Anne S. in Killen, AL and Joyce T., from Town Creek, AL.

Ann's contribution: 101 Mother's Day cards. 79 Mother's Day cards from Anne and 321 !!! Mother's Day cards from Joyce - and we sure do appreciate their help.

Returning Home, She Found Our Cards

After a deployment to Afghanistan, I'm in Manas AFB, Kyrgyszstan.  At the church, I found beautiful cards, made by the attached organizations (slips included from the ladies of Guradiean Lutheran Church, Dearborn, MI and the residents of Heisinger Bluffs Retirement Center, Jefferson City, MO).  I got one for my mom & mother-in-law for Mother's Day, a b-day cards for my husband and a bunch of "missing you" cards.  I'm excited to see America again & my husband who I've been apart from for 3 years b/c we're both in the Army, but receiving these cards made the transient great.  Thank you so much.

Just look at the beautiful cards that were received from Christy N. in Charlotte, North Carolina! 48 cards in all -- 39 Mother’s Day and 9 Love You cards. All had envelopes and were packaged in clear envelopes! Beautiful job, Christy! Thank you so much for supporting From Our Hearts and the US troops!
