Mad Hatters Send Another Box

We thank April S. and the Mad Hatters from Norco, CA!  Another box of 241 cards arrived.  All "box ready" - and we appreciate receiving them this way!

Many, many Halloween cards (101) and Birthday (140) is what we found in this shipment.

We appreciate receiving the Halloween cards early, as we will be preparing these boxes in early September, and this will be upon us in no time!

Our thanks to all the ladies who helped with this shipment!

Arkansas Stamper Contributes Again

Martha G, Elkins, AR, creates cards with matching envelopes - and this is her signature.  We can be assured that when we open her boxes, this is what we will find:

Her recent contribution of 166 cards and matching, stamped envelopes included 4th of July, wedding, thank you, religion-themed, and many more all occasion cards.

Beautifully done, we appreciate Martha's workmanship and we know that our service men and women will, too!

MEMORANDUM FOR From Our Hearts

SUBJECT: Thank You

1.  Thank you for sending the handcrafted cards to our Soldiers.  Our Unit, 1-12 Infantry, has recently assumed duties in this part of Afghanistan after replacing 2-27 Infantry who'd been here of a year.

2.    My assistant and I placed the cards you sent in our base's "Free-X".  The Free-X is open for all our service members to stop by and pick up toiletries, snacks, and comfort items sent from home.  Your support for our troops means a great deal.

3.    Every day, our Soldiers partner with Afghan Security forces to help make this part of Afghanistan safer for generations to come.  Knowing there are people like you back in the United States makes the job a bit easier.  May God bless you and yours.

Another Box From A Cedar Rapids, IA Stamper

Lina Contributes Again - In More Than One Way

6th Contribution From Illinois Stamper

Rosemary C and her daughters Rosalie and Jane mailed us another box from Maquon, IL - this is their 6th contribution to our effort!   Inside, we found 130 beautifully crafted cards of all occasions - anniversary, birthday, congratulations, friendship, get well . . . the list goes on!!!

They included, also, a supply of pens - and we thank all three for their continued support!

Ching Sends Supplies for Boxes

Her 8th contribution to From Our Hearts, we never know what to expect when we open a box from Ching T, Whittier CA.  This time, Ching decided to send us supplies that we add to the boxes of cards - pens and note pads.  And, she sent us plenty - just when we were O-U-T of everything!

150 pens and 0 note pads - we are so thankful to receive this box!

Another Mother's Day Thank You

A post card was recently received and this was addressed to FOH and Grace Bible Chapel:

Thank you so much for the cards you made and sent to Afghanistan for Mother's Day.  I was able to send one to my mother who is 82 years old.

4th of July Cards Arrive From Norco, CA

From Our Hearts recently received another box from one of our regular contributors, Cynthia K, from Norco, CA.

Cynthia focused on 4th of July cards, and we appreciated receiving them - they are already on their way overseas!  She made 154 of them - over 1/2 of a box that we would send!  She also included some Halloween and birthday cards, too.

Cynthia writes: "Words cannot describe how much I enjoy making the cards for our troops.  Thank you and your team for doing what you do!"
