From Our Hearts thanks this (local) special mother/daughter team who have been busy creating cards, using donated card stock, stamp sets and ink/supplies - Julie and Britney H created 84 lovely cards. Our thanks to all of our contributors who sent in supplies and who made this possible!

We mention from time to time our "volunteers" who help From Our Hearts in various capacities. Two of these ladies, Regina A and Kavi C have been helping our effort for many years.
From Topeka, KS, Regina has been receiving card fronts from us and she and her group of lady volunteers convert them into usable cards - hundreds of them at a time. This is where some of the funds and card stock, snail, dimensionals, etc are used - to make these cards out of donated card fronts. If you have any fronts that are stashed away in boxes or drawers, consider digging them out, no matter how old they are - and sending them our way. Our service men and women appreciate the cards that are made from these fronts!
Recently, Martie met with Regina in Kansas City and did a "swap" - she received card stock, envelopes, clear envelopes and other supplies, and Martie received 3 boxes of converted card fronts, ready to be mailed - over 1200 of them! This meet up with Regina saved From Our Hearts a tremendous amount of money in postage - we do stretch our donated dollars!!

From Hillsville, VA, Kavi C has been creating cards, cutting paper and making "card kits" for From Our Hearts' local stamping events for the troops - and we so appreciate having "ready to make" cards available to us. In addition to all of this help that Kavi gives to us just about every month, Kavi stamps with 3 different groups and donates the cards to From Our Hearts. Where does she find the time?

From Raytown, MO, Amy R mailed us another contribution. This box contained mostly card fronts - and we thank her for helping us keep our "card front converter" volunteers busy. They turn these fronts into usable, beautiful cards.

From Mexico, MO, a new contributor to our cause, Saunceria N sent us 197 gorgeous cards -
Each one well made, we appreciate her contribution!
Saunceria sent many general all occasion cards, many back to school cards that we promptly shipped off, and other occasion cards.

We are trying our best to get caught up on our posting of boxes so bear with us - we are still working on August donations! This is a good thing - we received so many boxes - and are thankful to each and every one of you who have contributed to our operation!
Operation Kitsap Kards mailed us a package of 151 cards recently. Headed up by Teresa Z, they are from Silverdale, WA.
Many, many Halloween, Thanksgiving and fall cards that they made are already shipped and on their way overseas.
In addition to the "fall" cards, they made many general, all occasion cards, thank yous, friendship and birthday cards, too.
We thank Teresa and Operation Kitsap for their generous contribution and continued support of our effort, and of course, the troops!
Audrey A and Lana F are from Williamsport, PA and are no strangers to From Our Hearts. Lana was the first contributor to mail us packing tape, many years ago!!!
Audrey shipped this box of cards to us - containing 111 cards - she writes: "I think Lana e-mailed you that a package from Lana would be arriving. We are so happy to be able to supply you with some cards to pass on to the soldiers...hope the cards are of your liking and you can use them. It certainly was our pleasure to make them and send them to you for your organization to use."
Lovely cards, and yes, they are to our liking! We know they will be appreciated by our servicemen and women!!

This shipment of 27 cards may not be the BIGGEST box we have received, but we sure appreciate them!

From Woodstown, NJ, Carol C has become one of our regular contributors, too. Carol sent us "box ready" cards - and this box contained 232 cards! Carol also added a monetary donation to her box - thanks Carol!

Red Hot Honey Bees and Harmony Arbor Gleaners from Alma, MI gathered together and stamped again for the troops and donated to our effort. Headed up by President Sue B and with the help of Nancy G, they mailed us 4 boxes - containing 2175 cards - wow, have they been busy!
The ladies made cards of all types, including Christmas - and this is our biggest shipment of the year - we are happy to receive them!

From Chicago, IL, Susan J contributed once again. Susan sends boxes to us often, and this box arrived full of miss you, wedding and anniversary and more.

Nina M, Jefferson City, MO surprised us when she handed over a handful of cards at a recent card making event at Heisinger Bluffs Retirement Center. Nina is the activities coordinator and she made these cards to donate to our effort.
Nina stamps with us every month, with the seniors - and we think she does nice work on her own!

The ladies have been stamping, once a month, with us for 4 years now and we know they have a good time - and they do a great job!
