Thanking Our Student Contributors

From Our Hearts receives many thank you notes, emails and even comments on our blog posts every week.  We are sharing several that have recently arrived; and each one is addressed to Dixon High School Community Service Club located in the state of California.  They shipped several thousand cards to From Our Hearts that have since been mailed on to our service men and women.

This is a comment posted on the blog:

Dear Dixon High,
My husband has been able to send me the most beautiful cards in the past three months, including my first mother's day card that looks like it was created especially for me! I hope you know how much you are appreciated for taking the time to make these amazing cards. Thank you so much!

A post card arrived from the 806th MP Company - with a simple "Thank you" written on it.

This morning, two additional letters arrived in our Post Office box:

"I just wanted to take a moment to say "thank you" for the beautiful cards.  In a world filled with e-mails and text messages, it is so nice to be able to send a hand-written card to friends and family back home, especially when the cards themselves are a gift.  I really appreciate all the time and effort that goes into the construction of each card and I have received such wonderful compliments from their recipients.  Than you again!

Over the past several weeks, many letters have been received, thanking each and every one of you.  See below:

Thank you for donating and sending so many beautiful cards to us here in Kuwait.  It is because of your wonderful organization that I (and we) have been able to send home made cards for every holiday, birthday... or even just to say I miss you.  I have never sent so many cards out in my life...and it makes me feel good too!  Plus, everyone thinks they are gorgeous!

Thank you for the Valentines Day cards you provided for us.  Several men in my unit used them to write our loved ones for Valentines Day.  I am using a couple to sent at different times.

I know that getting mail over here is always special, but it is also nice back home.  It is always a pleasant surprise among the bills and junk mail.  Thanks for affording us the opportunity.

Awesome, That Is What From Our Hearts Is!

I just wanted to say thank you for the beautiful cards! I'm from Wheeling WV, and I'm with the Air Force Reserves in Pittsburgh PA, the 911th. Right now I'm deployed in Al Dhafra. This is my 4th deployment. I send a card home each week to my kids and my wife and the cards you guys make are just awesome! Thank you for supporting us troops! It really means a lot!

A Thank You To Our Volunteers

 

I want to send a special thank you to all those volunteers who have donated their time, supplies, and energy to making the cards for us.  I am currently deployed to Afghanistan and it is amazing that as I travel through-out Afghanistan, I find your cards and am able to send a special note to my relatives. 

Your Christmas and Valentine cards really came in handy.  I am sure that as I complete my next six months, I will continue to run across more of these cards.

Unique Cards - Valentines Received

Hello from FOB Leatherneck!

I wanted to let you know we have received a box of Valentine's Day cards with your name on them.  Thank you so much for your support. Our men and women in uniform really enjoy going through the cards picking out just the right one for their loved one. The cards are all so unique.
